Data processed and purposes

When you use the site’s form we process: name, email, company, phone, your project, language, date sent and page of origin. This information is used to answer your request, prepare a quote and follow up the business relationship.

Browsing the site requires no account and collects no personal data on our side, apart from the technical logs of our hosts described below.

Legal basis

Pre-contractual measures taken at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b) for the reply and the quote; legitimate interest of Y-DISPLAY SAS (art. 6.1.f) for follow-up and the security of the site; your consent (art. 6.1.a) for audience measurement.

Recipients and processors

Your data is read by Y-DISPLAY SAS. To run the site, it passes through our technical providers:

• Railway (hosting of the application and database, Western Europe servers);
• Cloudflare (DNS, proxy, image storage, protection against bots);
• our e-mail delivery provider, which carries the notification of each request;
• Google (Google Analytics), only if you accept audience measurement.

No data is sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some providers are US companies. Any transfer is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Retention

Requests received through the form are kept for at most 3 years after our last exchange, then deleted. Our hosts’ connection logs are kept for at most 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. Write to yanis@y-display.com: we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).

Cookies and trackers

By default, this site sets no tracking cookie.

• Videos: a YouTube video only loads when you press play (youtube-nocookie.com player). From then on, YouTube (Google) may set its own trackers.
• Audience measurement: Google Analytics is only switched on after you agree in the banner. Your choice is kept on your device and can be changed at any time.
• Security: Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell visitors from bots; it is not used for tracking.
